It is my pleasure to welcome you all to the 5th National Oculoplastic Conference organized by the Nepalese Society of Oculoplastic Surgeons at The Soaltee on October 25th and 26th, 2024. The theme of this year’s conference is "Bridging Horizons in Oculoplasty: Innovation and Synergy."
Our seniors have set high standards in each conference, and we are proud to continue this tradition by introducing workshops, instructional courses, and a gathering of experts from both within Nepal and abroad in the field of ophthalmology. Building on the success of last year’s free pre-conference workshops for residents and budding ophthalmologists, we are excited to add a Cadaveric Dissection course, which will be the icing on the cake.
We are thrilled to collaborate with the Oculoplastic Society of South East Asia, dedicating a session to promote and learn from the experts in the region. Our international faculty members are distinguished in their fields, whether it be orbit, lacrimal, or oculoplastics. We will be hosting the pioneers of the Frontalis Flap procedure, the Minimally Invasive Eyelid Lift (MINEL) technique, the famed EyeTuber, the EyelidMan, and many other notable specialists who are passionate about oculoplastics and Nepal alike.
Our team is also introducing a "Lunch with Experts" program to enhance interaction opportunities for young surgeons in town. We promise you one and a half days of rigorous learning, interaction, and fun with both seniors and juniors alike.
